A Scythe is an AoE weapon, it can hit up to 2 foes adjacent to your target.

Any time you see multiple damage indicators (yellow numbers) from a normal atack, you have just hit multiple foes. It happens quite frequently when you're atacking groups of mobs.

AoE = Area of Effect.. its damaging multiple enemies that are grouped in an "area". The scythe is able to hit up to 3 foes if you are standing in the right spot (i.e. standing in front of a group of 3).

Yeah, scythe attacks hit your target along with up to two other enemies inside an adjacent half-circle in front of you. I don't know what determines which other two enemies get hit if there are more than two other people near your target though.

-Edit: Nevermind, the area of effect is just like with Hundred Blades, a very small AoE around your target.

to hit the max of 3 foes they all have to be in front of you and adjacent to each other. if you have 3 foes on you but the are spaced out one on each side you will only hit one at a time. So keep the foes grouped up and it will work.

There are *tons* of ways to strip enchantments. Most of them are in the necro/mesmer line.

A very good non-attribute one which is easy to use. The only drawback is the slow recharge.

If your target has spell immunity, rending signets, attacks, or pbaoe's will still do the trick.
